Bulk item pickup
Unlike cities where bulk pickup is bundled into regular service, Carmel charges for it directly: $20 per item for standard bulk waste, plus $45 per pickup for bulky landscape waste, both paid by the resident.

During significant inclement weather, trash and recycling service runs a day behind across the board - a normal Monday pickup moves to Tuesday, and a normal Friday pickup moves to Saturday.
